M18 Progress Meeting
Athens, Greece
On the 5th and 6th of May 2022, the PLURAL progress meeting unfolded in the city of Athens, Greece. Hosted by our esteemed partners, the Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni Municipality, the event marked a milestone in the collaborative efforts of the consortium. After an extended period of virtual meetings and conference calls, partners were excited to meet in person finally. The gathering began with an informal dinner at a local Greek restaurant, where partners had the opportunity to reconnect.
The first day started with a warm welcome and presentation by Dr. Grigoris Konstantellos, the Mayor of the Municipality of VVV. Following this, Maria Founti, the project coordinator, provided a brief overview of the Work Packages (WP) status. Each partner then presented their respective progress since the project's beginning, outlining achievements and detailing the upcoming steps on the horizon.
Throughout the meeting, workshops were conducted to delve deeper into specific tasks within the project. These workshops focused on discussions, enabling partners to collaborate and strategize effectively.
Amidst the presentations and workshops, the PLURAL consortium took the opportunity to visit the NTUA pilot building. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of the project, enhancing the understanding of its real-world implications. The day concluded with a social dinner in the historic Plaka neighbourhood of Athens.
The remaining work packages were presented on the second day, and additional workshops were conducted to address specific project tasks. A highlight of the day was the visit to the Greek demonstration building.
