Best City Awards 2023

We are excited to share that our partner The Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni won the SILVER AWARD in the Category Green City in the Best City Awards 2023 contest for the implementation of the PLURAL project. The Best City Awards 2023, which is a very significant event in Greece, were organized for the 7th year under the auspices of the Central Union of Municipalities in Greece (KEDE), the Region of Attica and the Region of Thessaly and highlighted and rewarded innovative projects implemented by Regions, Local Government Organizations and Businesses from all over Greece, aiming at smart and sustainable cities. Approximately 400 local government and business executives received their awards from the representative of the President of the Greek Government Minister of the Interior, and other very important persons in Greece. In total, the Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni received 12 important distinctions as well as the top distinction "Smart Town of the Year".
