Municipal Challenges day towards open innovation and European projects

On Monday, April 24th, our PLURAL project partners from ITeC - Institut de Tecnologia de la Construcció, had the honor of participating in the conference "Reptes Municipals cap a la innovació oberta i els projectes europeus" at the Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat. The event was organized by the County Council in collaboration with ACCIO and with the support of the Diputació de Barcelona and the consulting company FI Group.

The objective of the conference was to identify the most important municipal challenges in the region and share examples of technologies and use cases that could be applied in the Baix Llobregat in the form of innovation projects. During the conference, Kathleen Blanco, R&D project manager of ITeC, presented our PLURAL project, which is a perfect example of public-private collaboration.

Kathleen's presentation highlighted the importance of public and private collaboration in achieving successful innovation projects and the role of ITeC and its partners in the PLURAL project, which is focused on developing innovative solutions for the construction industry. Through the project, ITeC and its partners are working to create a sustainable and resilient built environment that meets the needs of both present and future generations.

Overall, the conference was a great success and provided an excellent platform for ITeC and its partners to showcase their work and share their experiences. It was a valuable opportunity to highlight the importance of public-private collaboration in achieving successful innovation projects.
