Kick-off Meeting

Online

The first meeting of the PLURAL project marked a significant milestone as partners from different corners of the globe assembled virtually on the 12th and 13th of October 2020 for the project's Kick-off Meeting. The session started with a warm welcome from Maria Founti, the project coordinator, who guided the partners through the project overview, structure and assigned tasks.

As each partner was introduced, they shared insights into their backgrounds and roles within the project. The coordinator then laid out a comprehensive plan for organizing the consortium, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and collaboration.

The open discussion provided partners with the opportunity to pose questions and exchange ideas. A key moment of the day was the election of the project Steering Committee, comprising work package leaders. Through a democratic process, all beneficiaries cast their votes, entrusting the chosen leaders with the responsibility of steering the project forward. This committee would play a pivotal role in decision-making and project oversight.

On the second day, each work package was presented by its respective leader. Partners delved into the assigned tasks, outlined objectives, and presented a detailed timeline for the project's first year. As the meeting drew to a close, Maria Founti thanked all participants for their active involvement and commitment to the project.

The PLURAL project had officially kicked off, with the energy and commitment of its diverse partners moving it towards a future of success and achievement!
